dakota dinosaur After watching a movie, late one evening many moons ago, about dinos. I was visually stunned. Even to the point as I drove home through the foggy orange groves, I would not have been surprised to have seen one of these incredible massive beast lumber across the road.
I have thought as the plains become more and more abandon, that these creatures would once again begin to roam more freely.
To catch sight of one of these creatures on your way home form school would be truly... spellbinding and amazing.

Updated: i think i have finished this - i might add some touch ups later- we shall see- enjoy
this is one of my smaller prints, I still have much to do on it, started it late last night though and I am happy with the results so far.
I feel so very nerdy right now... your description, along with the wonderful art unfolding up there, got me all teary-eyed. My inner kiddo is still desperately clinging to the hope of seeing an actual dinosaur one day. You're amazing at capturing childhood wonder, Trav. It always brightens up my day to see somethin from ya.
This is definitely on my to-buy list!!!

Ooooeh, I love dinosaurs... and dinosaur movies. I have the exact same thoughts you describe when watching one of those! I've had a lot of them visit in dreams, so I still kinda got the sensation "for real".
