- the message of the piece is simplistic to me. The question one must ponder is who's imagination is controlling the story. The dad or the kids.
Inspired from when I was little and as I play with my own little ones, I strongly believe as parents we spend too much time in our own selfishness. Forgetting who are the ones that make us smile and the ones that love us no matter what we are in life. It is very easy to put them to bed right when we get home, so we can have some I time. Maybe it is time to give them some we time.
Their imaginations are the emotions that carry us through the rough times. So keep them dreaming, and do not be afraid to dream with them... because one day they might stop dreaming because you told them to... and then you will wish that they hadn't.
This is for my kids, who always seem to want to play with the papa bear, who can be grumpy at times but loves them just the same.

Dont ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive. Gil Bailie
Supreme effort, Travs. The reflective light really adds to the magic. You've captured twilight perfectly. Great job.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
